One origin, many destinations

Producing in a single location and shipping outward keeps the product consistent. A laboratory in Manchester and a laboratory several thousand miles away receive material from the same process, the same analytical methods and the same batch records, rather than from whichever regional supplier happened to be closest.

It also makes the verification system meaningful. Because every batch is recorded centrally, a code printed on a box in one country resolves against the same production record as a code checked anywhere else.

Temperature and transit

Lyophilized peptides are considerably more robust in transit than reconstituted ones, which is one reason they are supplied freeze-dried. They are not indifferent to their environment, though: prolonged heat and repeated temperature swings shorten usable life even in dry powder form.

Shipments are packed to limit heat exposure over the expected transit window. On arrival the material should be moved to its documented storage condition promptly rather than left at ambient temperature.

Local rules are local

Research materials are regulated differently in different jurisdictions. Some require an institutional recipient, some require import documentation, and some restrict particular compounds outright. Those rules attach to the destination, not to the supplier.

Customers are responsible for confirming that what they are ordering may lawfully be imported and held where they are, and for holding whatever authorisation their jurisdiction requires. REVIVE LAB supplies documentation describing what the material is; it cannot determine another country's position on it.

What arrives

• A sealed vial containing lyophilized peptide, or bacteriostatic water where ordered
• An outer box carrying the item name, strength, batch number and a printed RVL verification code
• Batch documentation, with the full Certificate of Analysis available on request
